Jenoptic HEX03 Press
The HEX03 press is used to hot emboss micro-scaled features into thermoplastic materials. It is fitted with 180 mm platens, with 12 240 W heating elements per platen, providing a maximum temperature of 220 °C. Movement of the lower platen is controlled by a stepper motor and acme screw, applying pressure up to 200 kN in 10 N steps. An integrated vacuum chamber, camera system and tool holders allow for front- and backside embossing of substrates up to 150 mm in diameter.
